October 2, 2008 - 36 weeks Dr. performed first exam to check my cervix and I was dilated 1 cm, 50% effaced and baby was at a "0 - zero station." (Crowning occurs around +4 or +5) Wow! I really wasn't expecting Baby Joe to be at zero station. I haven't been feeling any pain/contractions.
October 8, 2008 - 37 weeks
3cm dilated, still 50% effaced and still at "zero station." I sometimes feel more pressure in the pelvic area, but nothing extreme.
